Wenonah's Memorial Day Parade & Wenonah Cemetery Service

You are invited to join us in a procession that steps off at 8:45 am at the corner of Mantua & Marion Aves and pauses at Veterans Corner at Wenonah Park for a wreath laying, then proceeds to Wenonah Cemetery.   There, the Fallen are honored by the national anthem, in presentations, in a reading about Memorial Day from a 6th grader from Wenonah Elementary School, in laying of wreaths and flowers, by the firing of three rifle volleys as a salute, and by playing of taps.  This annual Tribute to Fallen in the US Military is a procession of the public, scouts, Clearview Marching Band, Wenonah Fire Company, The American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, civic organizations, municipal leaders, and others who walk from the middle of Wenonah to the Wenonah Cemetery for the graveside service.
