About Our Ranks
Comprising nearly 80 members, Post 192 engages in numerous activities to support the military community as well as communities in our neighborhoods. Among its many activities, Post 192 provides funding to the NJ Department of The American Legion and National Headquarters to support veterans programs, as well as:

Funds annual scholarships for post-secondary education

Sponsors Boys State & Girls State delegates for cost-free in-resident learning about the processes of government

Assists in Veterans Suicide Prevention activities & events

Provides monetary awards & recognition to Wenonah Elementary students for citizenship and patriotism

Assists Homeless & Near-homeless Veterans

Engages in community outreach programs

Hosts the Wenonah Memorial Day Parade & Cemetery Service

Supports Clean Communities & Initiates Highway Trash Pick Up

Conducts private Veteran Cemetery Services, including Rifle Salutes, Taps, Flag Folding & Presentation

Collaborates with other civic organizations in joint efforts benefitting our communities

Recognizes active-duty residents during July 4th Patriotic Ceremonies

Presents awards to Grade School Students

Deploys Rapid Response Volunteer Veterans (R2V2), a unit of volunteers to provide short-term assistance to single parents, elderly, disabled, veterans, military and their families
